Bio: Heather Smith grew up in the town of Oregon Illinois dancing, tumbling, swimming and running. In 2006 she was nominated for Dance America’s “Dancer of the Year” and accepted into the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana’s BFA program as a dance major. During her four years there her passion for the health and wellness of the human body grew while studying the benefits of the Alexander Technique, Strength Training, Pilates and Yoga. After graduation she received her 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training from the Sivananda Yoga Ashram Camp in Val Morin, Quebec. Heather has gone on to share the profoundly transforming teachings from New York City to Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas. Heather believes in the power of positivity and hopes that whether you meet with her for an eight week Small Group Training, New Client Advisement or just an hour long class that you leave feeling deeply empowered!
